Summer Vacation

We went to Utah to school clothes shop and get out of Cortez. Tanner has always wanted to hike up to the Mount Timpanogos Caves. So, since he had to have his wisdom teeth out later in the week I thought it would be a fun thing to do before that. I was not planning to go- just a bit of advice - don't do this hike in flip flops. Here is why:
Distance: 1.5 miles
Time: 2 hours (The the round trip through the cave and back to the trailhead is about 3.5 miles and takes about 3 hours)
Elevation gain: 1,100 feet
Difficulty: 2
Overall: 8

We were resting before we got to go inside the caves.

This is inside the cave and it was cool, just not without tennis shoes.

Back out in the warm sun. (it was so cold inside the cave) What a view!

Yes, we survived Mount Timpanogos!

Except for my feet and legs :)
